Designed here in San Diego, California by woman-owned small business, Yoko Chai! Not only is she local to San Diego, Gabriela Bilinski, owner of Yoko Chai, is local to the South Park neighborhood where Trash Lamb’s brick and mortar resides. She’s as “local” to us as it gets!

Yoko Chai is the brainchild of Gabriela Bilinski, a Brazilian born fashion researcher who creates fun, timeless and nostalgic designs for people who are not attached to trends. 

Starting from a basement apartment in Massachusetts selling her original designs one by one, what became Yoko Chai has moved beyond to expand its collections online. It's all about being different, selling small quantities of designs and moving on to something else. What you get from here is bound to be a conversation piece, never to be seen again. 

Inspired by sci-fi vintage movies, cartoons, comic books and a variety of other styles from the early to mid 1900s, she's been able to adapt them to modern wear.
