*Our online sales are strong and we will continue to operate in that way indefinitely with in-person art shows and pop-up events hosted in various locations. I’ll be taking Trash Lamb on the road a bit and already filling the calendar of events for next year (Joshua Tree, June 2025).

The truth is that Trash Lamb can only improve with this closure, I’ll have the time and energy to fully focus on aspects of the business that have consistently seen growth. It is very bittersweet, to say the least, this space in South Park, San Diego was what “birthed” the gallery and it will forever be a special place. This will be the end of one chapter and the beginning of another, thank you to everyone who has supported along the way. I look forward to embarking on a new adventure with you and can’t wait to see what the future has in-store for Trash Lamb.

Please sign up for the email list (scroll to bottom of this page to join) to stay informed about what’s next for the gallery.

How do I submit my art?

Go here!

Please don’t just stop by during business hours to discuss an exhibition proposal or show me your art. I don’t know about you but being put on the spot isn’t fun for me and is especially awkward if you’re insisting I look at photos on your phone. The gallery is a small space and open hours are reserved for my clientele and other potential collectors. I owe this to the artists that I’m currently representing, thank you in advance for respecting my boundaries and my artists’ work.

This gallery is artist-run and woman-owned. Trash Lamb is me alone, Melody Jean Moulton, one person with a very small budget and a whole lot of heart.

Pro-Tip from someone who is both an Artist and Curator:

Do your research before applying to any gallery. We all have similarities but some of us operate very differently than others. Check out each gallery’s website and social media first to see past shows and get an idea of what you can expect from the gallery if you are accepted. Looking into these things ahead of time will make it obvious if a gallery is not a good fit and you’ll have a chance to save yourself some precious time and submission fees if you realize the gallery isn’t for you before you go through the process to submit.

Do you ship internationally?

Yes! We ship fully insured, worldwide! You will not be charged for shipping costs at time of checkout and will be invoiced via email only after you make the purchase. If you would like a shipping quote beforehand, I am happy to help. Email me with what you’d like to order and the address it would be shipped to and I’ll get back to you with an estimate as soon as possible.

Why will I be invoiced separately for shipping charges?

The variety in size and weight of the different types of art for sale online make it difficult to have the website calculate it for us and have it be a fair price. This is why we invoice for shipping charges separately.

You will not be charged for shipping at checkout and will receive a separate invoice via email for the charges (contains secure payment link). The invoice will be sent from Square (the credit card processing system we use) and will not come from the gallery’s email address. Please check your junk mail if you don’t see it in your main inbox as it can get sent marked as junk depending on how you have your email filters set up.

You can expect your shipping invoice within 5 to 7 business days from when you placed your order (or from the date the exhibition closes if the work you purchase is in a current show or release date, if it’s a pre-order).

The gallery ships fully insured through either USPS or UPS and always chooses whichever option is the cheapest (expedited shipping available at an extra charge).

Once your shipping invoice is paid in full, your order will ship within 3 to 7 business days. You’ll receive an emailed notification with tracking info once it ships.

Shipping times vary, please check your tracking number with the chosen carrier to receive updates on delivery.

If you need something in a hurry, please reach out and I’ll do my best to accommodate your request.

All orders with outstanding, unpaid shipping invoices for more than 90-days past date of issue will be considered abandoned by the purchaser. Trash Lamb Gallery reserves the right to dispose of all abandoned purchases at the gallery’s own discretion.

Purchaser will not be refunded for any abandoned orders and relinquishes all rights of ownership of any and all items left with unpaid shipping invoices beyond 90-days from date of invoice.

How soon will my order be ready if I chose local pick-up?

You will receive an email notifying you that the order is ready for pick-up. Most orders are available the next day but please allow up to 3 business days for it to be fulfilled.

All items left for more than 90-days past date of purchase (or closing date of the corresponding exhibition, if applicable) will be considered abandoned by the purchaser. Trash Lamb Gallery reserves the right to dispose of all abandoned purchases at the gallery’s own discretion.

Purchaser will not be refunded for any abandoned orders and relinquishes all rights of ownership of any and all items left beyond 90-days, as described in the previous paragraph.

What if my purchase arrives broken or defective?

If your purchase arrives damaged or broken please contact the carrier directly to file an insurance claim. I personally inspect all items carefully before shipping and package them securely. The gallery cannot be held responsible for damages incurred after handing off the package to the shipping carrier. I have no control over how they handle your goods or mistakes in delivery.

Can I return or exchange my purchase?

All sales are final. We can’t accommodate any return or exchange requests. In the event that your purchase arrives damaged, please see above.
