J.P. Hasson & Gregg Turkington
Brands You May Know showcases the visual art of comedians and musicians J.P. Hasson & Gregg Turkington. Hasson is best known for his one-man musical/comedy/sales presentation, “J.P. Incorporated” (and it’s previous incarnation, Pleaseesaur). Turkington’s stage and film projects include the motion picture “Entertainment,” focusing on his fictitious comedian Neil Hamburger, and the long-running “On Cinema At The Cinema” series.
In this show reoccurring themes familiar to fans of both artists arise, but in new formats, either printed or one-of-a-kind creations. The sleek, streamlined, colorful look of Hasson’s pieces contrasts nicely with the crudely-produced oddities made by Turkington.
